Best la Quinta I’ve ever stayed at! Ma Debbie at the front desk made feel taken care of start to finish. The room was wayyy more than what i expected.
This hotel is clean and well maintained. Check in was easy and the clerk was friendly and professional. The room was very clean, no unpleasant surprises and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast choices were slim but that's pretty standard these days. Best to plan on eating somewhere else if you want a complete breakfast. However I was satisfied with muffins and coffee. We had a medical appointment in Baton Rouge and were looking for a safe, comfortable place. Overall our stay was pleasant and I would recommend this place to someone wanting to stay in this area.
Great hotel! Miss Debbie and Lashandria at the desk are absolutely super!! Miss Debbie, I have officially adopted you as my grandma! You are the sweetest person I've ever met! Overall, it is a great hotel for the money, and so many great places to eat in very short walk ing distance. I will always stay here when in Gonzales.
Restaurants is located all around hotel, beautiful rooms. Bathroom sink just leaked a little other than that it was a perfect stay. Ms. Debbie is AMAZING She was kind and very helpful from check in until check out. Breakfast was okay and the breakfast host was nice as well.
This is actually one of the most low-key chill spots across from Tanger most other hotels around here are very uppity the La Quinta is not like that at al
“We stayed at the hotel on December 24, 2025, and our experience was excellent overall—everything from the room to the service met a very high standard. Unfortunately, that experience was seriously disrupted when a man knocked on our door just FOUR minutes after checkout time. We are not sure if he was a supervisor or front desk staff, but it appeared to be a routine practice. The approach felt intrusive and unnecessary, especially given how minimal the time difference was. It was disappointing and left a very poor final impression on what was otherwise an outstanding stay.
enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean & everyone was friendly. Mrs Debbie that works in the evenings was especially pleasant & super helpful! will definitely come back when in the area.
I had a great experience at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Gonzales for the Super Bowl Weekend! The staff and management were courteous and very accommodating, my room was spaceous and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast options as well (Red Velvet Waffles!). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a nice place to stay while visiting Gonzales. Thank you for your hospitality during my stay!
